MOUNTAIN BIKING
The Area has some excellent mountain biking routes
and been located on the Trans pennine trail you can ride for miles and miles through the country side.
For the more extream there are also a number of downhill locations in the area
ROCK CLIMBING
Just a short drive away is the peak distric with some of the best climbing in the country , stanage edge!!!
Or if you prefer there are a number of local in door climbing walls available in near by Rotherham or Sheffield
RIVER CANOE & KAYAK
The River Don is accessible a short distance from our site so why not bring your Canoe or Kayak, with access from here to many other rivers and waterways you can take a paddle and get a view of places otherwise inaccessible to others.
Please note for safety reasons we do not allow Swimming, Canoeing or Kayaking direct from the river banks at Hooton Lodge Farm
