Q & A’s

1. Can I bring my own drinks? For licensing reasons all drinks must be purchased from the bar. We serve a huge selection of alcoholic and none alcoholic beverages. Drinking water is available free of charge.

2. Is there food available to purchase? Nat’s Grill, Your Plaice or Mine & Pizzaolio will be open serving food. They serve a selection of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. The Icecream Van & Coffee hut will also be here.

3. Do you accept cash and card? The bar & food vendors accept both cash and card. The rides and inflatables are CASH ONLY.

4. What time does the event start and finish? The gates open at 12 noon and the event finishes at 10.30pm. Last entry into

the event is 7pm. We kingly ask anyone who isn’t camping with us to be off site by 11pm.

2pm- Michael Jackson

3.30pm- Dolly Parton

5pm- Meatloaf

6.30pm- Cher

8pm- Queen

9.30- Elton John

6. Is there parking? Parking is available but it must be pre-booked online. You are fine to leave your car overnight but as a venue we accept no liability.

7. Are children allowed? Here at Hooton Lodge we pride ourselves on being a family friendly venue. Children are welcome to attend, but they must be accompanied by a responsible adult age 21+

8. Can I bring my dog?

Well behaved dogs are permitted inside the arena but they must be kept on a lead at all times.

9. Do I need ID? We operate a strict challenge 25 policy so if you are lucky enough to look under 25 you will need valid photographic ID.

10. Can I camp? Camping must be pre-booked online at www.hootonlodge.co.uk/booking We only have 2 nights stays available.

11. Can I come in and out of the event if I’m camping? You can, within reason. We will scan your ticket as you arrive and give you a wristband to wear all day. If you want to leave and return to the festival at any time, just show your wristband. If you take your wristband off you will not be permitted entry back into the event. Please be aware that drinks cannot be brought in and out of the festival, and you will need to go through security searches each time you wish to re-enter.

11. What can I and can’t I bring? Let’s Forge It Festival is an open air event, so please come prepared for whatever the good old British weather may throw at us – from raincoats to suncream and blankets to sun hats!

Fold-up chairs are permitted however we do request that they be used to the back of the arena. Children’s tents, tables, gazebos, windbreaks or any other tented structures WILL NOT be permitted. All bags must be smaller than A4 size. You can bring snacks but we kindly ask you support the food vendors where possible. STRICTLY NO DRINKS TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE EVENT.
